Product description

Well-known as a coffee substitute, chicory roots are particularly interesting due to their inulin content.

Inulin is naturally produced and stored by the roots of the plant as an energy reserve.

Inulin belongs to a class of dietary fiber called fructans. It is used for its prebiotic effects and would promote the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria.

Nexira’s chicory roots extract is gently processed in our French factory using a water extraction & spray-drying process.
