Sekaya® Coconut
Flour is shredded fresh coconut meat that has been extracted of its milk,
gently dried and milled to fine powder.
As a
functional food, coconut flour is a more nutritious substitute to refined wheat
flour in baking, particularly paleo, grain, and gluten-free baking.
Sekaya® coconut flour is gluten-free, high in dietary fiber at 36% of weight with 55%
insoluble fiber and 3% soluble fiber; Protein-rich at 15% of weight, and have a
mild impact on blood glucose levels. Research shows that coconut flour is
recommended for people with Type-2 diabetes and for those who consume high
fiber, high protein food.
