Fine Desiccated Coconut

Product description

Fine desiccated coconut is made by dehydrating and finely grinding the white meat of mature coconuts into a smooth, powder-like product. It has an unsweetened, mildly nutty coconut flavour and is naturally high in dietary fibre, with no added sugar. Its fine texture makes it ideal for applications where larger coconut pieces are not required, including cakes, cookies, biscuits and macaroons. It can also be used in savoury applications such as curries and rice dishes, as well as for thickening sauces and adding a coconut topping to desserts and breakfast products.

Available in conventional and organic varieties, as well as SO₂-treated and SO₂-free options. Industrial packaging is available in 25lb, 50lb, 100lb and 25kg kraft paper bags, with a 10kg bag also available.
