Medical device indicated in case of gastrointestinal disorders caused by an excessive production of gas, such as flatulence,meteorism, eructation, bloating and abdominal cramps. It is useful in case of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) for the symptomatictreatment of abdominal bloating.
HOW IT WORKS
The beneficial results of GAS & BLOATING REMEDY are due to the synergistic effect of two components: simethicone, which is themain ingredient of the product, and an enzymatic pool, in support of its efficacy. The action of simethicone, a methyl siloxanepolymer which, since inert, is not absorbed from the digestive tract and does not interfere with the digestive processes, is purelyphysical and takes place at the gastro-intestinal level. It can reduce surface tension of gas bubbles present there, facilitatingtheir dispersion and, therefore, their expulsion. The digestive enzyme complex helps to improve food digestion (by splitting it intosmaller elements, easily absorbed from the gut) counteracting the effects linked to a possible malabsorption of it, includingexcessive gas production due to its fermentation.
