GLUKAN’s flagship ingredient is POLYCAN®, a proprietary beta-1,3/1,6-glucan ingredient produced through the fermentation of the patented black yeast strain Aureobasidium pullulans SM-2001. Unlike conventional beta-glucan ingredients that are mainly associated with immune support, POLYCAN® has demonstrated a broader range of biological activities.
