Shanxi Guangsheng Medicinal Capsule Co., Ltd. (GS Capsule) was established in 1983 with over forty years of capsule industry expertise in our world class manufacturing facilities. GS Capsules is a premier global empty hard capsule manufacturer producing Gelatin, HPMC, Pullulan, and Enteric Coated capsules. We offer 14 different capsule sizes ranging from 000# to 5, elongated versions, clinical trial applications and a wide range of customized color options. Currently, GS Capsule is the largest empty capsule manufacturer in China with 48+ billion capsule production capacity.
In December 2021, Advent International successfully acquired GS Capsule where Advent International is one of the largest and most experienced global private equity firms. Established in 1984, Advent has invested $70 billion in over 405 private equity investments across 42 countries and deeply committed to the GS Capsule organization.
