Our core business scope covers the research and development, production and sales of a multiple series of products including plant sterols/esters, natural vitamin E, functional oil microencapsulation, functional powder microencapsulation, microbial fermentation. The products are widely used in the fields of edible oils, pharmaceutics, health foods, dairy products, dietary supplements,Special Medical & Special Dietary Purposes, personal care products, and animal nutrition, etc..

HSF is the earliest large-scale high-tech enterprise specialized in the research and development, production, and market application of phytosterols/esters in China; an important pioneer, market promoter, and participant in the formulation of national industry standards of China's phytosterol/esters industry; and one of the major suppliers of plant sterols/esters in the world. Our products are breaking up foreign technology monopolies and filling the gap in the domestic market.


We have successfully developed a large number of subdivided products with deep application of phytosterols/esters, high-end natural vitamin E and microencapsulated lipid powder, have been well received by well-known brand customers at home and abroad. Meanwhile, HSF has established a comprehensive technology platform and a bountiful of products and technologies with independent intellectual property rights.


In 2016, HSF won the “Second Prize for Science and Technology Progress in Shaanxi Province”, in 2017, awarded the honor of “Gazelle Enterprise” in the National Agricultural Demonstration Zone. In 2018, approved as Shaanxi Province Innovation R&D Center and Provincial Innovation Demonstration Enterprise, and in 2019, approved as National Key Engineering Test and Research Center. In 2020, HSF won the second prize of Shaanxi Science and Technology Award and Shaanxi Province "Specialized and Special New" Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. In 2021, participated in two national key research and development plans, undertaken 9 national and Shaanxi provincial science and technology projects, and has 59 invention patents. The company led and participated in the drafting and formulation of national industry standards for phytosterol, phytosterol ester, natural vitamin E raw material DD oil etc..


Since 2012, with 10 years’ continuous R&D and optimization of fermentation & extracting technology, HSF invested 4.8 million USD and 12.8 million USD in its first and second industries zone in city of Yangling. With the two individual manufacturing sites, Fermtek® can provide customers with one-stop and customized services from small-scale trials, pilot tests to large-scale production.


In 2025, HSF invested significantly in the construction of two new functional lipid microencapsulation production lines, aiming to establish a world-class, modern manufacturing base for microencapsulated products. This expansion caters to diverse industries, including special medical and formula foods, infant nutrition, dairy products, functional beverages, coffee, and baking.


HSF currently operates five advanced functional lipid microencapsulation production lines, offering customized and flexible delivery capabilities for quantities of 50g, 20kg, 400kg, 5t, and 30t per day. With an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons, our product portfolio includes fat-soluble vitamins, Omega 3/6/9 series, MCT oils, DHA/EPA, OPO, pigment microcapsules, and other functional oils. We provide comprehensive, differentiated services spanning lab-scale trials, pilot runs, and full-scale commercial production.
