Welcome to the International Pre-, Pro- and Post-, biotics Association! (IPA)

The International Pre-, Pro- and Post-, biotics Association (IPA) is a global non-profit organization bringing together through its membership, the biotic sector’s stakeholders including but not limited to academia, scientists, health care professionals, consumers, industry and regulators. The IPA’s mission is to promote the safe and efficacious use of biotics throughout the world. Holding NGO status before Codex Alimentarius, the IPA is also recognized as the unified Global Voice of Probiotics® around the world.

Additionally, the IPA will work with government bodies and industry to assist in establishing scientific standards for biotic supplements, biotic pharmaceutical products and functional foods. IPA will educate consumers on the proven health benefits of all biotics for humans by attending trade shows, health tours/walks and other media functions. IPA promises to always put forth timely, unbiased information to every interested party, and share the documented benefits of all biotics to its international forum of members.
