galenIQ™ is Isomalt (USP-NF, EP and JP), a polyol manufactured from sucrose which is derived from the naturalsource: sugar beet. galenIQ™ has a sweet taste and is used as a water-soluble filler-binder to make tablets,chewables, lozenges, effervescents, powder sachets and minitablets. Not only is galenIQ™ easy to use but it canalso improve the palatability of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical formulations by reducing the bitter flavors ofother components and by providing a pleasant smooth mouthfeel.
