    Product description

    L-aspartic acid is an organic compound with the chemical formula C4H7NO4. White crystals or crystalline powder, with a slightly sour taste. It is soluble in boiling water, slightly soluble in water (0.5%) at 25℃, readily soluble in dilute acids and sodium hydroxide solutions, insoluble in ethanol and ether. It decomposes when heated to 270℃, with an isoelectric point of 2.77. Its specific rotation is related to the solvent it dissolves in. It is dextrorotatory in acid solutions, levorotatory in alkaline solutions, and dextrorotatory in aqueous solutions
