Lykalac

Lykalac BC30 is a probiotic ingredient. Bacillus coagulans are minute size gram-positive facultative anaerobic rod shape endo-spore forming bacteria. It grows optimally at 37°C and pH range of 5.5 to 6.2. When ingested orally, B. coagulans can withstand the acidic conditions of the stomach, its spores germinate and proliferate within GI tract; thereafter B. coagulans becomes metabolically active as part of the facultative anaerobes in the intestine, producing L-(+)-lactic acid.
