Company description

Meelunie is a global supplier of plant-based ingredients, mainly starches and proteins, but also for example sweeteners and fibers. Our product range covers a wide variety of food and non-food applications, and includes trusted brands such as Windmill Potato Starch and our new House Of Proteins brand that makes its debut here at the FiE. In 2022, Meelunie will be expanding its portfolio with fava isolate proteins produced in a brand-new Danish facility. These highly innovative products are completely neutral in both taste and color, and therefore ideal for a wide range of food applications.

New fava processing facility

In keeping with its pioneering commitment to the protein transition, Meelunie will built a fava protein isolate manufacturing facility in Hedensted, Denmark. Helping meet the growing demand for plant-based proteins in ways that also address deforestation, inefficiencies in global agriculture and other climate-related challenges.
