The potential of BPF ® supplementation in multi-organ impairment associated to Metabolic Syndrome

Metabolic Syndrome represents a serious issue for human health being associated to multiorgan impairment. BPF counteracts MS-associated disorders due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties . Here we report on evidence provided in more than 20 pre-clinical and 5 human clinical studies carried out in MS suggesting that BPF represents a unique and safe solution in combating cardiovascular, liver and muscle dysfunction associated to MS. We provide also evidence that, due to its well characterised effect, BPF also supports healthy ageing counteracting ageing-associated metabolic disorders.
