NutriLeads is looking to help people strengthen their health by developing and commercialising natural ingredients with proven health benefits.
NutriLeads is a dynamic commercial-stage Health Ingredients company that develops crop-derived food ingredients with clinically proven health benefits for specific patient and consumer groups. Our proprietary natural ingredients support human health, beneficially modulate the gut microbiome, and are upcycled. Our first commercial ingredient, BeniCaros, supports immune function and increases resistance to respiratory infections. BeniCaros has been clinically demonstrated to prepare the immune system to be fit all year round and is now commercially available. It offers the opportunity to develop new dietary dietary supplements, functional foods and beverages with a differentiating immune health claim and communication versus or in addition to micronutrient supplementation alone. All of NutriLeads' proprietary ingredients undergo clinical trials to demonstrate their efficacy in improving human health and are taken through regulatory approval for market access before being sold to partner companies who will incorporate the ingredients in their finished (food) products. We are a private company headquartered in Wageningen, a world-renowned centre for food research and development in the Netherlands, also known as the ‘Food Valley’. We have received non-dilutive funding from various regional, national and European grants and are backed by VCs.
