Our Olive extracts contain Triterpenes, Oleuropein, and Hydroxytyrosol. These are thought to be the compounds behind olive’s antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. Hydroxytyrosol, in particular, is the most potent antioxidant in nature because it is able to cross the blood-brain barrier, which allows it to have significant action in neutralizing free radicals in the nervous system.
