Fluid Bed Dryer - Essicca

The fluid bed dryer model ESSICCA Developer (FBD/Fluid Bed Dry) operates by circulating treated hot air. It keeps the granules in suspension and extracts the generated moisture by incorporating a binder solution during the wet granulation process performed in a MIC rotary granulator.

The ESSICCA dryer uses controllers and executors managed by specific drying programs, which eliminate problems inherent to the interaction of a particulate solid with a gas, such as:

• Formation of air passage channels within the granulate knead.
• Non-uniform drying of the granulate mass knead.
