Papela is a next-generation Contract Packaging Organization (CPO) enabling nutraceutical and vitamin brands to transition to significantly more sustainable packaging, without operational disruption or capital investment.
Purpose-built for nutraceuticals/health supplements and selected pharmaceutical segments, Papela provides integrated primary, secondary and logistical packaging under one roof. At the core is the fiber blister platform, engineered to dramatically reduce plastic use while maintaining the performance, protection, and compliance required by regulated products and EU PPWR - Packaging and packaging waste regulation coming into effect from 2030.
Papela’s model allows customers to stay fully focused on product innovation and capacity growth while Papela manages the packaging transition end-to-end. By removing the need for in-house equipment upgrades, material validation, and process redevelopment, Papela lowers both the financial and operational barriers to adopting next-generation fiber-based packaging at scale.
The company is being built to pharmaceutical-grade quality standards, with robust traceability, validation frameworks, and scalable European production designed to meet the expectations of leading nutraceutical and pharmaceutical brands/CDMOs/CMOs.
