Company description

RAISIO, established in 1939, is a traditional Finnish company specialized in healthy, responsibly produced food and ingredients. We are and have been the forerunner in gluten-free oats for over 20 years and are also known for fava bean- and oat-based plant proteins. During our long history, we have become the biggest oat producer, and have the most famous plant protein and oat brands, in Finland. In addition, Raisio is the owner for Benecol®, a brand for cholesterol-lowering foods. At FiE 2023 we are searching for new Benecol® license partners!

Our wide product range covers gluten-free, organic and conventional oats, oat fibre concentrates and textured plant proteins. All types of oats are available as different sized flakes, groats, flours and bran. We are happy to share our know-how and help you choose the best possible ingredients for your applications and offering. We have extensive know-how to process high-quality Finnish oats into more than 100 oat-based products at your use.
