The Teff grain is cleaned intensively in order to remove impurities like other weeds, straws, stones and other organic matters. We blend 50% white with 50% brown Teff. The kernels are heated with steam, rolled and dried in an oven. This process gives a very pleasant taste and smell to the Teff flakes. The flakes are ready-to-eat mixed in yoghurt or fruit salads or to make instant porridge. For industrial applications like sports- or meal replacements bars we produce a more coarse flake. We pack the regular flakes in paper bags of 12 kg and the coarse flakes in paper bags of 15 kg.
