The Sheartex 300 is a production machine, proven at 400 kg/h with more to come!
Most plant-based texturing still runs on high-moisture extrusion. It works, but the process couples everything: change the throughput and you change the shear, change the temperature and you change the residence time. Sheartex takes a different route. Shear and throughput are set independently. Temperature and residence time are separate dials. And you can dose fats, emulsions or flavours in-line while the product is being structured. The result: long, aligned fibres from nothing more than protein, water and oil. The formulation can be plant-based and hybrid.
