Unseen Bio is a microbiome data analysis company, that provides our partners with insight into the gut and vaginal microbiome using citizen science through our microbiome tests.
With our established user-test, customers get insight into their gut and vaginal health results through a user-friendly platform
and recommendations on how to optimize their microbiome health. With this consumer-oriented
microbiome test as the starting point, our b2b partners can obtain valuable microbiome data insight and analysis into
their products effect on the microbiome within a few months.
Citizen science is a faster, and easier alternative letting you study your product's real-world impact based on your test subjects' everyday lifestyles.
We offer in vivo and in vitro microbiome analyses.
Our standard assay is shotgun metagenomic sequencing, which offers superior performance, detecting over 4500 species, as opposed to more traditional methods that look at a more limited range. Shotgun sequencing is considered the gold standard in research that enables publication.
We currently provide species-level resolution across three taxonomic levels and 2gb of data per sample.
Depending on your project, we can zoom in on individual subspecies, branch out to additional taxa, investigate functional profiles, and adjust sequencing depth. Nanopore, 16S RNA, and qPCR analyses can be performed as needed.
We focus on data quality and always ensure that data is compatible with relevant metadata.
Through collaboration Unseen Bio also supports
health care professionals with a deeper insight into client’s health.
