Company description
Vetio was established in 2018 as a union of two of the animal health industry’s bests: connecting the product development intelligence of TetraGenx with the manufacturing expertise of Tropichem Research Labs. In July 2021, Vetio was acquired by Swedencare to diversify into veterinary drug development and manufacturing, while also strengthening its own supply chain for liquid topical products. In November 2022, Swedencare acquired Custom Vet Products Ltd, a UK-based manufacturer of pet supplement products that produces soft chews, tablets, capsules, powders, pastes, and other forms. CVP was rebranded as Vetio UK. Vetio UK and Vetio Ireland, established in 2023, offer premium CDMO products and services to animal health markets in the United Kingdom and Europe.
