Viablife Ascorbyl Palmitate (AP)
Product description
As an oil-soluble vitamin C ester, ascorbyl palmitate exhibits excellent oil compatibility and can serve as a food-grade preservative to inhibit lipid oxidation and extend the shelf life of various oil-containing foods.
Applications: Food Additives: Used in edible oils, shortening, fried foods (such as potato chips), margarine, and infant formula to prevent lipid rancidity. Bakery Products: Added to dough to extend shelf life and delay staling by 2 to 4 days. Dietary Supplements: Used in softgels, oil-based capsules, and high-fat nutritional supplements to stabilize ingredients and serve as a high-bioavailability form of vitamin C.
Advantages: Antioxidant Capacity: Effectively prevents lipid auto-oxidation. Synergistic Effect: Exhibits a powerful synergistic effect and enhances stability when combined with tocopherols (vitamin E) or rosemary extract.
