Herbstreith & Fox has been
manufacturing high-quality pectins for the food and non-food industry since 1934. H&F primarily produces highly specialized
pectins from apples and citrus fruits for a wide range of applications. As a universal gelling agent, thickener and stabilizer, pectin is an indispensable part of many different products today.

As a pioneer in the field of multifunctional products, we offer a comprehensive range of functional dietary fibers with a focus on fruit-derived fibers such as citrus fibers or apple fibers. Our HERBACEL® multifunctional fibers fit perfectly into "clean & simple" concepts such as the creation of vegan emulsions based on our fibers only, as well as stabilization, texturization, viscosity increase, etc. in various food & beverage applications. Our coloring and flavoring apple extracts are gently dried after extracting the juice. Depending on the type and dosage, the color spectrum of HERBAROM® ranges from a golden yellow, to a medium brown, to a deep, dark-brown shade.
