A new recyclable film! Stronger, greener

Ever greener: a new transparent recyclable film is now available

This is not a déjà vu, we have improved the recyclable film by modifying the layers that make it up, and have obtained a material that is stronger and easier to recycle. 

What it looks like... It is more recyclable: the three PP layers

There are two new features compared to the previous recyclable film:

• the use of a single polymer: PolyPropylene (PP)
• the change from 2 to 3 layers 

A quality double that improves both resistance and recyclability. In fact, the composition in a single material makes the layers perfectly compatible and, if they are disposed of correctly, they can be converted back to the starting polymer for easily recyclable packaging.

With this in mind, we added a PP barrier layer, increasing the strength of the packaging without compromising recyclability. The result is a more structured, high-performance and protective film, so protective that the EVOH layer can be removed: the high quality of the material we use offers an equally effective barrier effect, guaranteeing a long life for the products, thus reducing food waste.

Everything changes and nothing changes

Suitable for food contact, with an excellent barrier to mineral oils, moisture and oxygen, protective against flavours and of course... genuine! The new pouches retain all the typical characteristics of film, including the possibility of creating transparent eco-windows to show the green soul of the products.
 
Our commitment to testing materials and guaranteeing their quality has not changed either: we have also subjected this film to food contact compliance and recyclability tests. In the latter case, we relied on the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging and Interseroh+, obtaining a ''GOOD'' rating, with a score of 18/20, and a certificate of recyclability with the 'Made for Recycling' label.

The new material is already available and selectable from the configurator. As of today you will no longer find the old film, but we assure you that you will not miss it. The minimum order quantity of 50 pieces can always be used, even for a small test!
