Cai Po, is a cherished Taiwanese tradition that transforms humble daikon
into “black gold” through salting, sun-drying, and fermentation, yielding a
dark, softened product prized for its depth of flavor and nutritional value.
Our extract harnesses the phytochemical richness of fermented radish (Raphanus
sativus L.), emphasizing its unique organosulfur compounds, antioxidants,
and bioactive metabolites to deliver a functional ingredient with deep cultural
roots, including modulation of cell cycle progression—particularly G2/M phase
arrest—and suppression of inflammatory signaling pathways in cellular models.
In addition, isothiocyanates are widely reported to upregulate Phase II
