Silvateam Ingredients commercialises globally tara gum in different grades,
such as standard, low and high viscosity as well as 100% organic.
Approved as a food additive by the Food Chemicals Codex, tara gum serves
primarily as a natural thickening and stabilising agent for a wide range
of applications, such as dairy, ice creams, baked goods, meat and alternatives,
sauces and dressings.
Silvateam produces this natural ingredient in its Peruvian state-of-the-art
facility by grinding the endosperm of Caesalpinia spinosa seeds. Through
its own plantations, the company guarantees the consistent quality and
availability of tara gum, carefully managing each step of the value chain, from
cultivation to production.
