Obtained by grinding the endosperm of the seeds of Caesalpinia spinosa, a native Peruvian tree, Tara gum is commercialised in different grades, such as standard, low viscosity, high viscosity and 100% organic.
Tara gum is approved as a food additive by the Food Chemicals Codex and functions mainly as a thickening and stabilising agent. Thanks to its proprietary plantations, Silvateam guarantees the quality and the availability of this natural product, controlling every single step of the value chain.
