Vitacel® Citrus Fiber

Citrus fiber is a clean label natural ingredient delivering multiple functional and dietary benefits. It is obtained from partially depectinised citrus peels, a by-product of the pectin industry, aligning perfectly with the principles of circular economy.

Commercialised under Vitacel® brand name, this E-numbers free solution shows a high water binding capacity, making it an excellent replacement for conventional stabilisers, emulsifiers and thickening agents. This enables shorter, cleaner ingredient lists for food and beverages.

Citrus fiber is produced by JRS Silvateam Ingredients in its brand-new plant in southern Italy (Rende), standing out for its remarkable efficiency in terms of water and energy consumption.
