Andrew Smith, Team Lead Value Added-Services, Pharma EMEA
Andrew Smith began his career as a chemical engineer, validating a new excipient and nutraceutical plant in the UK. Since then, he has held Quality, Asset & Project Management, Marketing and Sales positions within industries including Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals and Water Treatment.
In his role as Team Lead for Value Added Services, Andrew oversees a European wide team of experienced project managers focused on delivering unique and novel supply chain and distribution services for Brenntag’s partners. These services are focused on driving quality and efficiency in the supply chain, reducing waste, improving sustainability, and creating value for both suppliers and customers.
Christoph Conrad, Head of Industry Market Management APIs & Supplements, Pharma EMEA
Christoph Conrad is Head of Industry Market Management APIs & Supplements for Pharma at Brenntag. He is responsible for the EMEA-wide portfolio of active pharmaceutical ingredients as well as raw materials for use as actives in supplemental applications.
Christoph, after studying biology, has been working in the pharmaceutical and nutritional sector for more than 10 years. Starting his career developing diagnostic quick tests, he gained experience in the industry moving through sales and project development to product and supplier management. Now he and his team are responsible for the strategic development of Brenntag’s API product portfolio.
