Becanex develops gentle low-pressure extraction for cannabinoids, production in Berlin

The start-up Becanex has been producing CBD oil since August 2019, using its own patented extraction process (low-pressure extraction) at the Berlin-Adlershof science location. CBD is one of the biggest trends of recent months with a fast-growing variety of products.

Becanex supplies to innovative companies the suitable raw material from controlled production, made in Germany.

Our extract is made from certified organic hemp, grown by European hemp growers. The result is a mild flavoured, plant-identical Full Spectrum CBD oil. This means that as well as CBD, our oil contains a full range of naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids, found in the hemp plant.

Our team of currently 15 employees distributes worldwide to companies in the food supplement, flavor, cosmetics and pet food sectors. The company is funded by Investitionsbank Berlin and is a partner of the city of Berlin. Becanex is a joint venture between the Laia's Proteinhanf GmbH from Berlin and the Dutch company Phytonext BV from Wageningen.
