Bifidobacterium longum BORI is isolated from stool samples of healthy breastfed infants. It is BIFIDO’s patented human-origin probiotic strain, which shows 99% inhibition of rotavirus infection in the experimental model.
In Korea, B. longum BORI has received the Korean FDA’s approval as a functional food ingredient and as a probiotic dietary supplement. B. longum BORI has a positive effect on human clinical health and has passed safety evaluation. B. longum BORI has obtained the U.S. FDA GRAS certification and Korea halal certification
