Biosprint®

Biosprint® is a highly concentrated live probiotic yeast authorized under European Regulation (EC) No. 1831/2003 as a feed additive (4b1710).
Leveraging decades of expertise in yeast selection and processing, Prosol has developed Biosprint® from a specific Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain for use in animal nutrition. The strain is proprietary and deposited at the Mycothèque de l’Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) under the unique code MUCL™ 39885.

Since the 1990s, Biosprint® has been distributed in more than 40 countries worldwide, helping feed producers and farmers improve livestock productivity and economic performance.
Biosprint® is authorized in the European Union for use in ruminants and monogastric livestock. By supporting digestive efficiency, it helps improve nutrient utilization and overall animal performance while contributing to animal health.
In ruminants, Biosprint® promotes optimal rumen fermentation by supporting the microbial population responsible for fiber digestion. It also helps stabilize rumen pH by limiting the growth of lactic acid–producing bacteria, thereby reducing the risk of acidosis.

In monogastric animals, Biosprint® acts as Colon Oxygen scavenging promoting HEALTHY INTESTINAL MICROBIOTA which is composed by STRICTLY ANAEROBIC BACTERIA. The output is improved feed digestion and fermentation at intestine level along all swine production cycle.

Biosprint®, recently included in the Register of Feed Additives, is one of the few live yeast solutions authorized for use in pet food, supporting gut health in both dogs and cats.
