Campden BRI sets 7th June as open day date

Campden BRI has announced that its annual open day will be held at its Chipping Campden site on Wednesday 7th June. This, the company says, is a great opportunity to catch up with industry developments and to identify hot topics and expert authors for articles, as well as hear Heather Hancock, Chair of the Food Standards Agency, deliver the 39th annual Campden lecture.

The day will feature 40 interactive exhibits - providing an insight into Campden’s latest research - and the company’s pilot plant will be open for tours. There will be plenty of opportunities to network with around 500 high profile personnel from the food and drink industry, as well as many of Campden’s technical experts. Three short briefing sessions will be run - on global regulatory trends, metagenomics and imaging technology.

Campden will also be announcing the winners of the UK heats of the major food innovation student competition, Ecotrophelia 2017, and there will be an opportunity to meet all the UK finalists and view their innovative new food and drink products.

The Campden BRI Day is free to attend, but prospective attendees need to register.
