Citrose is a citrus-derived, high-performance
sweetener complex designed to help low- and zero-sugar formulas taste more
complete. It supports cleaner sweetness delivery, helps move sweetness closer
to a sugar-like experience, and can reduce common taste trade-offs such as
bitterness, harsh edges, delayed sweetness, and lingering aftertaste,
especially when used in blended sweetener systems.
Derived from immature Citrus aurantium fruit, citrose offers a differentiated citrus origin and upcycled ingredient story. In the U.S., citrose can be declared as “citrose,” giving brands a shorter, more label-friendly sweetener name compared with many commonly used high-intensity sweeteners.
