Coconut Milk is becoming popular as vegan, non gluten, non lactose drink and a replacement of dairy milk. Coconut milk is a high-calorie food. About 93% of its calories come from fat, including saturated fats known as medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). But its consistency & fat content can be adjusted by adding water.Coconut milk is extracted from grated coconut. It is transferred into chilled storage tanks after passing through a pasteuriser. Additives may be added depending on requirements. The milk then goes through a direct steam injection steriliser (DSI) and aseptic filler to get packed.
