FERRIC PYROPHOSPHATE

Product description

Ferric Pyrophosphate occurs as yellow-white or tan powder. It is insoluble in water, but soluble in mineral acids. Its suspension is acidic. It is manufactured by chemical reaction of sodium pyrophosphate and ferric chloride, after filtration, washing and drying to get the finished product. The product has stable content of iron, and low chemical activity of iron ions, can effectively avoid the problems of fat loss caused by catalyzed oxidation of iron ions. Ferric pyrophosphate can be widely used in food fortification and in nutritional supplements.
