Food ingredients South America (FiSA) will take place in São Paulo, Brazil from 21-23 August, welcoming more than 9,000 visitors and over 700 domestic and international suppliers.

Food ingredients South America (FiSA) will take place at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, Brazil from 21-23 August. It is expected to welcome more than 9,000 visitors through its doors, with over 700 domestic and international suppliers exhibiting.

It will, say the organisers, provide visitors with the opportunity to source the latest and most innovative ingredients that have been directly discovered in the heart of Latin America; grow their business in one of the fastest growing markets with a large appetite for food, health and functional ingredients; and nurture business relationships by meeting with the most important ingredients suppliers and buyers in the region.

Fi South America will be co-located with Health ingredients South America and Natural ingredients South America.

Over the past two decades, the ingredients industry has evolved significantly - from reactive to proactive consumers, all seeking functional foods that provide benefit adding solutions to whatever nutritional challenge they currently face or will face later in life. From antioxidants to anti allergens, fat reduction to sports nutrition and healthy ageing, Nutrition and Wellness is a growing trend with no end in sight.

To capture this market trend, the organisers say that Health ingredients (Hi) South America has created a powerhouse exhibition that will provide a complete 360° perspective of the health, nutritional and wellness industry.

The Natural ingredients Pavilion was launched for the first time at FiSA 2017. Natural ingredients (Ni) is a tradition for 20 years at Fi Global and it has, the company says, been a powerhouse for the industry.

The Natural ingredients Pavilion enables the sourcing of natural and organic ingredients for supplements, nutraceuticals, functional food and beverages, and any other food related products. The event attracts a worldwide audience from the full spectrum of industry stakeholders responsible for ingredient specification and purchasing.

To maximize the experience at FiSA, visitors will be able to participate in a guided tour by an industry professional. The Innovation Tours are an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the food and beverage industry in Latin America, with a special focus on Brazil.
