We develop functional food
ingredients, such as proteins and fibers, from a wide range of plant raw
materials, including legumes, oilseeds and side streams from the food industry.
We optimize resource-efficient wet and dry fractionation and processing methods
to tailor the composition of the ingredients and
their functional and sensory properties to the specific raw material and application.
With our protein database, we support you
in quickly and accurately finding the right protein ingredient for your food
and guide you through the entire process chain: Based on the right ingredient
selection, we support the development process for dairy alternatives and
textured foods for meat, fish and seafood alternatives.
We also
support you with new agricultural systems for innovative ingredient solutions.
These include vertical plant farming, single-cell protein and cultured meat,
with a focus on resource-efficient and year-round food production.
