Company description
Itaueira Industrial brings the fruits of Brazil’s northeast to the world in form of high quality ingredients. Our plant in Palhano, Ceará, sits in the heart of Brazil’s acerola country, and acerola is at the center of what we do. Acerola ingredients are largely supplied by multinationals, but we are one of the few Brazilian companies manufacturing them at industrial scale, keeping value and know-how at the fruit’s origin.
Our model is built on traceability, trust, consistency and sustainibility, which includes the health of our partnership with the farmers, responsibility with the environment where we operate and competitiveness.
Our portfolio covers organic and conventional qualities of the following fruits besides acerola: cashew, watermelon, melon, coconut.
It serves beverage, food and nutraceutical manufacturers around the world. Certifications include: FSSC 22000, Organic, Halal, Kosher.
