LAVENDER FLOWACTIVES® MICROCAPSULES

Lavender oil offers multiple beneficial and therapeutic effects. It possesses sedative and pain-relieving properties, and its use is particularly advantageous for the gastrointestinal tract, where it acts as a natural antispasmodic and exhibits carminative properties. Its most active components are linalool (20–50%) and linalyl acetate (20–30%), although it also contains various minor terpene derivatives. The microencapsulation of lavender essential oil, distilled from the Lavandula officinalis plant, enhances the stability of its active ingredients and enables the development of solid oral formulations (such as hard capsules and single-dose sachets), while preserving its therapeutic properties and masking its characteristic bitter taste.
