LIVZYM Biotechnology R&D Industry and Trade Inc. was established in 2014 by Dr. Serdar Uysal and his investment partners within the framework of University-Industry cooperation in order to produce enzymes with domestic resources in Turkey.
The official opening of our factory, which was established in February 2019 and is located in Tuzla Leather Organized Industrial Zone, was held on June 26, 2020 with the participation of our Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mustafa VARANK and our Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Bekir PAKDEMİRLİ.
LIVZYM Biotechnology R&D Industry and Trade Inc. produces Turkey's first and only domestic industrial enzyme with its strong R&D infrastructure, global know-how competence and an all-Turkish team of experts in their fields.
Today, in the field of biotechnology, just like in the defense industry, producing domestic and national solutions has become a priority for Turkey's vision of a sustainable and rich future. Aiming to transform this priority into an added value for both the economy and social development of our country, LIVZYM Biotechnology Ar-Ge San. ve Tic. A.Ş. conducts studies at all stages of enzyme production, such as increasing the efficiency of microorganisms, their production, and developing the obtained enzyme in forms suitable for the needs of different sectors.
As the first biotechnological organization in the field of enzymes, LIVZYM Biotechnology Ar-Ge San. ve Tic. A.Ş. continues its activities with the aim of contributing to the development of the use of enzymes in the industrial field while expanding the market in its geography and increasing Turkey's global competitive power in the field of biotechnology.
