Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) are the combination of caprylic (C8:0) and capric (C10:0) fatty acids which are naturally found in either palm kernel oil or coconut oil. The unique metabolism of MCT which different from normal LCT makes it a good ingredient for sport nutrition, weight management, elderly nutrition as well as medical food.
