MCLS Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, and has its roots in Japanese fermentation. Established in 2015, we bring the best of Japanese ingredients to the European market, drawing on Japan’s long-standing tradition of fermentation technology. Nearly all the products in our portfolio, including yeast extracts and nutritional and cosmetic ingredients, originate from fermentation.

We are engaged in the development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, technical service, and import/export of a broad spectrum of ingredients, including:

Savoury ingredients, such as Kohjin’s specialty yeast extracts and Ribotide®

Nutritional active ingredients, such as L-137

Our ingredients enable improved taste, higher quality, and healthier benefits. A small, dedicated team of experts and our own R&D facilities in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, keep us innovating.
