Company description
Newtra Food is an Italian company founded in 2020 and based in Puglia. It
develops high-value-added powdered ingredients for the B2B market, obtained
directly from the processing of fruit and vegetables, to support customers in
creating functional foods.
Our range is 100% plant-based and carrier-free. We work only with
high-quality fruit and vegetables grown in Italy and recognized for their
nutraceutical properties: artichoke, asparagus, spinach, carrot, broccoli and
tomato.
Every ingredient is rich in fiber, vitamins, polyphenols and antioxidants,
and retains the natural color and authentic flavor of the fresh vegetable.
The secret is a patented technology: the fresh vegetable first undergoes a
special milling process and is then dehydrated by freeze-drying. The result is
a powder with a high concentration of nutrients, greater availability of
polyphenols and antioxidants, and a superior sensory profile compared with
powders made using other methods.
Our powders suit a wide range of applications: pasta, gnocchi, bread,
snacks, energy bars, bouillon cubes and seasonings, herbal infusions,
plant-based products and ready meals.
