Nucleodrink®

Nucleodrink® is a liquid source of nucleotides and nucleosides designed for administration through drinking water in poultry production.

In newly hatched chicks, the intestinal tract is not yet fully developed, which can limit optimal nutrient absorption and early growth performance. The integrity of the intestinal mucosal barrier plays a key role in maintaining animal health and supporting efficient development.

Nucleotides are particularly important during periods of rapid intestinal growth or tissue repair, such as in fast-growing broilers or following intestinal stress or infections. Supplementation with nucleotides helps improve intestinal morphology, increasing the villi-to-crypt ratio, a recognized indicator of a healthy and functional gut.

Furthermore, nucleotides support gut development and integrity by promoting the growth of beneficial lactic acid bacteria and enhancing the diversity of the intestinal microbiota.

In addition, nucleotides contribute to immune system support in poultry by stimulating the production of leukocytes and macrophages and by promoting a faster and stronger immune response to vaccinations.
