The patented formula of microencapsulated silicic acid gel.
This formula is obtained by microencapsulating tiny droplets of silicic acid gel in acacia gum, a natural fibre that does not undergo chemical modification. It is sourced from Africa, from the Acacia plant in Senegal, and is a non-GMO organism. Acacia gum offers many beneficial properties for the body, including a low glycaemic index, low-calorie intake, and probiotic activity in the gut. Thanks to the natural acacia fiber, silicic acid is slowly released in the intestine, promoting a more significant absorption of silica. Silicic acid gel is an ingredient authorised in the EU by EFSA to provide silica in food supplements, listed in Regulation (EC) No 1170/2009 and EFSA Journal (2009) 1132, 1-24.
