Product description
Optimised formulation of silicic acid gel microencapsulated in maltodextrin.
This formula is obtained by microencapsulating tiny droplets of silicic acid gel in maltodextrin, a highly soluble and versatile polysaccharide. Silicic acid is rapidly absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract and excreted via the urine. Absorption studies published in Scientific Reports (Boqué N. et al.2021) show that ORGONO Living SilicaMalto-Osa Powder is several times higher than other types of silica, allowing lower doses to be taken. Silicic acid gel [Si (OH)3] is an ingredient authorised by EFSA for silica in food supplements, listed in Regulation (EC) No 1170/2009 and EFSA Journal (2009) 1132, 1-24.
