Established in 1946, it is the largest producer of soy sauce in Korea, with over 60% market share, and is recognized as a household brand in Korea. On the B2B side of the business, Sempio has a wide range of products including savory taste enhancers, various flavors, as well as peptone and collagen.

Fermentation is the basis of taste and health in Korean food. The fermentation process works by breaking down proteins into peptides and amino acids, which create rich and delicious flavors. With over 100 researchers in our fermentation R&D center, and collaborations with world-leading culinary research centers, we have been developing new ingredients which can bring a new dimension to the taste of your food products and flavors.
