Nature-based SLENDID® Specialty Pectin is a label-friendly ingredient developed as a fat replacer. It provides a smooth and creamy mouthfeel, texture and body in low-fat and non-fat beverages, sauces, dressings, mayonnaise, ice cream and cultured dairy products. It performs well in cold processing and in products with acid and neutral pH. Like a traditional pectin, it also acts as a thickener and stabilizer with excellent flavor release.
