About us
Guan Chong Berhad (GCB) is a fully integrated cocoa product and chocolate producer, with its core activity in cocoa processing. We are specialized in producing the full range of cocoa products, namely Cocoa Mass (Cocoa Liquor), Cocoa Butter and Cocoa Powder under the brand name of “Favorich”, with collectively over 40 years of experience in the cocoa industry. We have a total of four cocoa processing facilities, two units in Malaysia, one unit in Indonesia and one unit in Ivory Coast, with a combined annual capacity of 405,000 MT. Thanks to the acquisition of SCHOKINAG (2020), one of the key manufacturers of industrial chocolate in Europe, and thanks to our chocolate factory in the UK (established in 2022), GCB also supplies industrial chocolate to the food and beverage industry, including world-renowned chocolate makers. Our production facilities are well equipped with state-of-the-art machinery from Europe and compliant with international food safety standards. With years of experience, we have successfully gained significant market presence across the world and built good business relationships with major multinational food & beverage companies.
